- Login to hPanel → click Backups
- Select your website from the dropdown
- Click Create Backup
- Wait for the backup to complete (usually 1-5 minutes)
- Download the backup file to your local computer for extra safety
How to Restore From Backup in hPanel
- Login to hPanel → click Backups
- Select your website
- Find the backup date you want to restore to
- Click Restore
- Confirm the restoration — your site will revert to that backup point
- Wait for restoration to complete (1-10 minutes depending on site size)
Warning: Restoring a backup overwrites your current website with the backup version. Any changes made after the backup date will be lost. Always create a fresh backup of your current state before restoring an older backup.
